CCCAA Baseball Championships - Game 6 OCC vs San Joaquin Delta at 11am

Socalcollegesports is proud to once again bring you complete coverage of the CCCAA Baseball Championships form John Euless Field on the Campus of Fresno City College.

It's Championship Monday and we are down to two: Orange Coast and San Joaquin Delta. If it feels like deja vu it should, as this is the identical day three match up from a year ago. OCC comes in through the winners bracket having not dropped a game in the 2015 championships. Meanwhile, the Delta Mustangs, after having dropped their opening game versus Orange Coast, have righted the ship to say the least, combining for 27 runs in their pair of wins vs Palomar and Fresno City on day two.

Join Mike Zepeda, Jeff Stoyanoff and Phil White as they have the call for game six and possibly game seven on the final day of the 2015 CCCAA Baseball Finals.

Saturday, November 23 - Golden State Bowl - Ventura at Mt. San Antonio 2:00 PM - Southern California Bowl - Golden West at Riverside - 6:00 PM

Live streaming video by Ustream

The Post Season arrives on with another doubleheader featuring two explosive matchups.  First, the Mounties of Mount San Antonio College (8-2) return home to host the Ventura College Pirates (6-4) in the Golden State Bowl at 2:00.  The Mounties narrowly missed out on a spot in the final four as they fell at Riverside 33-30 in a classic game that went down to the wire.  Now, the Mounties must regroup as they finish out their season against a dangerous Pirate team.  Ventura has won two straight and they are already eyeing a major run next season with many prominent contributors set to return.  The Pirates hope to keep their momentum and a win against the highly touted Mounties on the road would certainly accomplish that goal.

In game two, The Riverside Tigers (9-1), fresh off their thrilling win last week, enter the SCFA playoffs at home against the Rustlers of Golden West College (9-1).  The Tigers came back from an early 17-3 deficit to pull out the victory against Mt. Sac, but there is no time to rest as they will be severely tested by a talented Golden West squad that has flown under the radar all season.  Like the Tigers, the Rustlers only defeat this season came at the hands of top ranked Fullerton College.  Both teams will be seeking a victory to move on and perhaps gain a chance at revenge against the undefeated Hornets next week in the SCFA Championship game.  Jeff Stoyanoff and Mike Zepeda will have the call first from Mount San Antonio College and then from Riverside.  It should be a thrilling day of fantastic action on your home for SCFA Football on the web,

SCFA Week 11 Doubleheader: Bakersfield at Pasadena 4:00 PM - Mt. San Antonio at Riverside 6:00 PM - Saturday 11/16

The Bakersfield College Renegades travel south to take on the Pasadena City College Lancers in the SCFA regular season finale. The Renegades are coming off of a hard fought win vs Allan Hancock last week, in a game that saw the AHC Bulldogs score two fourth quarter touchdowns before finally succumbing to the defending state Champs 17-14. Bakersfield has won 3 out of their last 4 games and enters week 11 looking to close out the season with a .500 record.

Meanwhile, the Pasadena City Lancers have started to gel late in 2013. After finally busting into the win column in week 8, the Lancers came out of their bye week and gave #9 ranked Ventura all they could handle in a 37-27 loss at home. The two teams were deadlocked going into halftime at 21 apiece, before the VC Pirates were able to pull away in the second half.

Join Mike Zepeda as he has the call from Pasadena, CA on your home for SCFA football coverage, SoCalCollegeSports...

Game two brings a titanic match up in the SCFA with tremendous post season implications.  The Riverside Tigers (8-1, 5-0) play host to The Mount San Antonio College Mounties (8-1, 5-0) with the Central Conference Championship and a guaranteed playoff berth on the line.  The Mounties come in having won eight straight after stumbling out of the gate against Saddleback College back in the season's opening week.  The Tigers meanwhile, come in just 26 seconds from perfection.  A last second two point loss to top ranked Fullerton remains the only blemish on the Tiger's 2013 campaign.  But, Riverside still has one giant hurdle left if they want to make the SCFA playoffs as an ultra talented Mountie squad will come to town with their entire season on the line.  It looms as perhaps the biggest game in the 2013 regular season in the SCFA and you can watch it here, on
