The South will be represented by a pair of Orange Empire Conference squads...

The Fullerton College Hornets continued a run that has been as tremendous as it has been astonishing.  After dominating the loaded Orange Empire Conference en route to a regular season title, the Hornets backed it up in the post season winning the super regional they hosted this past weekend.  The Hornets secured their birth in the final four by finally outlasting a game Palomar team 7-6 in game seven of their super regional Sunday.

The Cypress Chargers stormed through their super regional at Saddleback College winning their final three games to shock both host Saddleback and Mt. San Antonio College.  The Mounties needed only one win on Sunday to punch their ticket to Fresno, but the Chargers swept the double header and they will move on to the final four.

In the North, second seed Santa Rosa wrapped up a birth in the final four with a 5-1 win Sunday over San Joaquin Delta.  Meanwhile, Feather River stunned top seed Sierra and earned the final spot with an emphatic 7-1 win on the road.  The South hasn't won a state championship since 2009 as the North has dominated of late.  Who will take home the title?  You can follow all of the action LIVE with Mike Zepeda and Jeff Stoyanoff right here on your home for community college sports in Southern California......www.socalcollegesports.com.....
